Influences

Kagrra,On June 3rd, 2000, the group forming Kagrra, with vocal Isshi, guitar Akiya, guitar Shin, base Nao and Drums Izumi. The band raise “wa(Japanese)”, the Japanese beauty, in a concept so they work in the Japanese style called neo-japanesque visually to the sound. An at all poetic element included in the lyrics of Kagrra..s music, can touch Japanese tradition too. Those lyrics created by Isshi known as a vocalist has various dramatic utterance methods and they have fans from the wide age group.

Kagrra, had their major debut with releasing their first maxi single[UREI]from Columbia music entertainment Co., Ltd Jan.1st 2004. Also on March 3rd, Kagrra, performed for their first one-men live as a major band at SHIBUYA KOKAIDO.

Kagrra, released 7single, 3 albums and 4DVDs until now, a single [CHIKAI NO TSUKI]is a ending theme song for an animation called[kin-niku men 2sei]on TV Tokyo.

A single[UTAKATA]is produced by CHOKKAKU as Kagrra,..s new departure, the album is [SHIZUKU]it..s also produced by CHOKKAKU, also welcomed MORI YUKINOJO as a song writer.

The band is popular also in Asia and Europe, those fans from many nation are enjoy Kagrra,..s live performance.

In May, 2007, the band joined the two days event "J-Rock revolution" in Los Angels.

Kagrra, performed with KOTO, the Japanese instrument, on a stage, and got high evaluation from the media.
